This event is the beginning of a campaign to educate our community about the dangers of Melanoma. Every hour of every day someone dies of melanoma in the United States. Te incidence of melanoma is increasing faster than any other cancer, and an Americans lifetime risk of developing melanoma is one in 60. Melanoma is not a disease of discretion. It strikes men and women, all ages, all races and all economic levels. Melanoma can be treated successfully if diagnosed early.

With your help and generosity, we can raise the much needed funds for research and education. For every one person we reach, that will be one less loss for any family to endure. One of Mark's greatest joys was being in the pit at Irwindale Raceway every Saturday during race season He was a member of the pit crew for TCR Racing, a family owned car in the super late division.. Irwindale Raceway is going out big time for us and we hope you have a chance to come out and see the races and support our efforts. We will be "RACING FOR THE CURE" all season.
